Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FourthGens ("the Server"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Server. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Description of Service

FourthGens is a Minecraft: Java Edition server that provides a "gens" gameplay experience, including but not limited to mining mechanics, villager trading, player progression, and community features. All gameplay is provided "as is" and may be modified at any time.

3. Server Rules

All players must follow these rules at all times:

1. No Hacking. This includes client-side hacks like aimbots, autoclickers, and killauras. Visual hacks that do not give an unfair advantage (e.g. Fullbright) are allowed.
2. Be Respectful. Racism, discrimination, threats, and other hateful conduct will not be tolerated. Swearing is allowed in moderation.
3. No External Advertisements. Do not advertise other servers or services. This hurts our community.
4. No Naked Killing in Gens Areas. Naked players (those not wearing armor and not fighting back) may not be killed in Gens zones. Naked killing is allowed in the PVP/Build Area.
5. English Only in Chat. This helps our staff moderate chat effectively.
6. No Spamming. Repeated messages, caps spam, or excessive chat flooding is not allowed.
7. Keep Chat PG-13. Innuendo and suggestive content should be avoided.
8. No Server Destruction/Raiding. Attempts will result in an un-appealable ban.
9. No Begging for Items. Earn your gear through gameplay.
10. No Begging for Staff. Staff applications are handled through the website only.

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent bans at staff discretion.

4. Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your Minecraft account and any actions taken on it. We are not responsible for account compromise, theft, or unauthorized use. All in-game progress, items, currency, and ranks are virtual goods with no real-world value and may be modified or removed at any time.

5. Purchases & Refunds

Any donations, rank purchases, or in-game transactions are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. All purchases support server operations and confer no ownership rights. Chargebacks may result in account suspension or ban.

6. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Server at any time without notice or liability. This includes but is not limited to game mechanics, features, progression systems, and server availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

FourthGens and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Server, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of in-game items, downtime, or any other claims. The Server is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied.

8. Privacy

We may collect limited data necessary for server operations, including your Minecraft UUID, IP address, Discord ID (if verified), and in-game activity logs. This data is used only for moderation, analytics, and server functionality. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required by law.

9. Third-Party Services

Our website and server may use third-party services (e.g. Formspree for form submissions, Discord for verification). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
